If you have been following this blog, you know that we have been saying that most Taverns would not be choosing to apply for their SGOC license due to the heavy taxation and requirements.
Yesterday (2/20/2014) there were several articles printed in local newspapers stating the Governor and State Department are finding that Taverns are not lining up for their SGOC licenses.

"PA SGOC 60/40 split is for entire 2014 calendar year" ~PA Depart. of Rev. Interpretation of recent Law Changes

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue updated their SGOC website today and posted the attached an SGOC_overview.pdf document that you can download.
We are hopeful that the PA BLCE will be consistent with their interpretation of when the 70/30-60/40 are in effect. As of the writing of this Blog (2/7/2014) they have not yet published their interpretation of the recent law changes.
If you are looking to protect your SGOC license, look no further than our Sienna Database System.
